TRANSFER POLICY
Brothers Arms offers a variety of transfer services for firearms: Private Sales, Dealer to Dealer and NFA to NFA sales.
Any transferred firearm must meet all requirements of State and Federal Law, and must be shipped with the following:

An operational gun lock that works for that firearm

An appropriate gun case for that firearm

A copy of the transferor’s FFL
Firearms must be shipped in the correct manner according to the carriers restrictions.
Brothers Arms charges a $40 transfer fee per serialized item.
We prefer if you have multiple items being sent to us. PLEASE wait until they all have arrived before coming to collect, as long as they will be within the grace period. This will save us both on paperwork. It is the customer’s responsibility to make ALL arrangements with the transferring FFL, including delivery of required document and payment of shipping costs, and to notify Brothers Arms of any firearm transfer prior to its arrival at our premises. Notification should be made by e-mail ONLY, (please put the name of the transferee in the subject line to: Brothersarms.est2017@gmail.com
The email notification must include:

The make/model AND SERIAL NUMBER of the firearm being transferred

All contact information (name, address, daytime phone number) for the transferring FFL (including a contact name)

ALL contact information (name, address, daytime phone number) for the customer requesting the transfer.
PLEASE! DO NOT CALL to double-check your gun’s arrival. You must rely on information provided to you by your shipping company. PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER YOUR GUN’S ARRIVAL TO COME PICK IT UP.
This means: do NOT come the same day it arrives as it will not be ready! We must log and do paperwork for your item. It is the customer’s responsibility to ascertain whether the firearm has arrived by contacting the shipping company, and to claim the firearm from Brothers Arms within specified time limits as outlines below:

Firearms transferred by another FFL

Transferred firearms must be picked up from Brothers Arms by close of the Fifth day after its arrival on our premises

(24 hours plus 4 grace period days)

Transferred firearms NOT picked up within the grace period are subject to $10/day storage fee every day after the grace period, per item.

Transferred firearms NOT CLAIMED WITHIN THIRTY DAYS of arrival will be considered ABANDONED!!

ABANDONED FIREARMS: Once a firearm is considered abandoned, Brothers Arms reserves the right to possess and sell the firearm at no future recompense to the customer.

If any firearm shipped to Brothers Arms does not meet any state or Federal Laws, the item will be returned to the

sender. transferring FFL at the customers cost and may be reported to the proper authorities.
BY SHIPPING A FIREARM TO BROTHERS ARMS YOU SIGNIFY THAT YOU UNDERSTAND ALL THE
RULES, FEES, AND GUIDELINES OUTLINED IN THE POLICY DOCUMENT.
